The M’Wikwedong IFC is currently accepting applications for the full time position (35 hrs/week) of Wasa-Nabin Program Coordinator.

Salary for this position is $45,000 (prorated).
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Wasa-Nabin Program Coordinator is responsible for planning, budgeting, implementing and evaluating various youth events, services, activities and functions with educational, recreational and culturally appropriate components following the core values of M’Wikwedong Indigenous Friendship Centre.They will act as a role model to youth and provide leadership, guidance, training and advocacy support on the youth’s behalf to ensure the effective delivery of the Wasa-Nabin Program such that the needs of youth 13 – 20 years of age, self-identified Indigenous, and as “at risk” are met in a timely and culturally sensitive manner.

M’WIKWEDONG IFC is a highly flexible organization offering additional compensation including paid cultural days, paid holidays beyond mandatory Employment Standards, paid shutdown over the Christmas holiday week, and health benefits. M’WIKWEDONG IFC health benefits are offered to full time permanent employees who work more than 25 hrs/wk, employees will be able to enroll upon the successful completion of their (3) three-month probationary period.
