Kawenni:io/Gaweni:yo School is seeking to hire a FULL-TIME PERMANENT receptionist to start August 4, 2021

Posting Period: July 21, 2021 – August 3, 2021

Location: Kawenni:io/Gaweni:yo School, Iroquois Lacrosse Arena (upstairs) Six Nations

Job Status: 40 hours per week – 8:15 to 4:15 daily, Monday to Friday

Salary: TBD based on experience and qualifications

Main Duties and Responsibilities 

The Receptionist will ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the school reception office, and support the work of the teachers, students and administration.

The Receptionist will perform a wide range of duties as identified in a job description available upon request.

Qualifications

Education – Grade 12 High School Diploma and Postsecondary Education in business, computers, or office administration or other relevant Postsecondary Education.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities – Proficiency in the use of computer programs for the following:  Word processing, Databases, Spreadsheets, basic knowledge of Bookkeeping, E-mail, and use of the Internet.

Experience

Previous experience in an office setting, ability to speak one of Mohawk or Cayuga would be an asset.
