JOB SUMMARY: The Haknosęh (My Uncle) reports to and works under the direction and supervision of the Maternal Child and Youth Health Manager, Wellbeing, Six Nations Elected Council.

 

Under the direction of the Six Nations Maternal Child and Youth Health Manager, our Haknosęh (my uncle) will work directly with youth and their families to strengthen their knowledge in Hodinoshoni culture, values, and roles and responsibilities. The role of Haknosęh is to preserve and promote traditional Hodinoshoni practices, thereby enhancing a positive and strong cultural identity among clients and staff.
