Haldimand-Norfolk REACH is a multi-service agency, providing Child & Youth Mental Health Services, Autism & Behaviour Services, Developmental Services, Youth Services, Adult Counselling Services, and several Early Learning Intervention & Care services including EarlyON Child & Family Centres and the Community Action Program for Children.


H-N REACH serves as the Lead Agency for Haldimand Norfolk Children’s Mental Health Services, Coordinated Service Planning and the Student Nutrition Program in the Hamilton/Niagara Region. Through our Contact Unit, the agency serves as the single point of access for a variety of children’s services.


H-N REACH is recognized as a local leader in community education, advocacy, inter-sector collaboration and Community Service Planning.

 

 
Early Learning & Care Unit 
EarlyON Child & Family Centre 
EARLY YEARS FACILITATOR                              Ref. #2026-46 
Part-time, Temporary, Hourly

- 28 Hours per week

- Contract of up to 18 months 
 
 
Wage Rate:  Step 1 -  $22.01 -  Step 2 - $24.76 -  Step 3 - $27.51 
 
 
The Early Years Facilitator facilitates program, activities and supports participating families at the 
EarlyON Child & Family Centres. Working as part of a team you are responsible for the children, families, 
and environment, as well as delivering inquiry-based learning and supporting parents and caregivers in 
their roles. 
 
Responsibilities:   
Planning, implementation & evaluation of core services for children & families including: 
• Engaging Parents & Caregivers 
• Supporting Early Learning & Development 
• Making Connections for Families 
• Flexibility to include days, evenings & weekend coverage for the Haldimand & Norfolk sites as required 
 
Qualifications:   
• Early Childhood Education Diploma 
• Registered member in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators 
• Demonstrated experience and ability to work well with adults & children 
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment 
• Current certification in First Aid/CPR-C 
• Verification of the required immunizations/immunity, as required by the local Medical Officer of Health 
• Vulnerable Sector Record Check (includes Criminal Record & Judicial Matters Check) and Children’s Aid 
Society Declaration/Release 
• Possession of a valid driver’s licence, $2 million vehicle liability insurance, clear Driver Abstract and use 
of a vehicle
