Director of Information Technology

Company: Six Nations of the Grand River Development Corporation

Reporting to the Executive Director of Corporate Administration, the Director of Information Technology (IT) provides strategic leadership and oversight of all IT functions, serving as a business partner to leverage technology for operational efficiencies and revenue generation. This role is responsible for guiding IT strategy, managing IT operations, ensuring robust cybersecurity, overseeing budgets, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to align technology solutions with the organizational objectives of Six Nations of the Grand River Development Corporation (SNGRDC).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

IT Strategy and Planning

• Develop and execute a multi-year strategy for IT infrastructure, systems, security, and communications to support organizational goals.
• Establish and enforce standardized procedures for selecting, implementing, and maintaining IT systems, ensuring security, compliance, and scalability.
• Develop implement and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity strategies to mitigate operational risks.
• Define governance standards and best practices for system selection, implementation, and support.
• Partner with Executive Leadership Team to identify technical and operational requirements and establish IT support standards.
• Identify and develop capital expenditure needs to support a multi-year strategy to enable SNGRDC to complete a comprehensive digital transformation of its systems architecture and applications.
