Mary-Ann Minshall's success story is truly inspiring. Through GREAT's assistance with resume building, Skills Development Program, and Monthly Training Supplement, Mary-Ann could pursue her passion for working with her hands and operating heavy equipment.

Her determination and dedication led her to become a Heavy Equipment Operating Apprentice, a role that resonated with her love for building and working with machinery. Mary-Ann's ultimate goal of securing a position within a reputable Demolition Department showcases her ambition and drive to excel in her chosen field.

GREAT's impact on Mary-Ann's personal and professional development cannot be understated. The organization provided her with financial support and resources and empowered her to give back to her community by sharing her knowledge and skills with other Indigenous youth. Through her work as an equipment operator, Mary-Ann is positively impacting her community and setting an example for others.

Looking ahead, Mary-Ann envisions herself completing her apprenticeship, earning her three Red Seal Exams, getting her tickets for Excavator, Bulldozer & Tractor-Loader Backhoe, and one day earning the title “Journeywoman.” Her story serves as a beacon of hope and inspiration for others who may be unsure of their career path or next steps in life.
