Job Summary:
- Provide Sales support to the Marketplace and Café
- Become familiar with the policies and operations of the Marketplace and Café
- Assist in the general operation and maintenance
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- In a secondary or post-secondary program in general studies or commerce, digital media
Knowledge:
- Working knowledge of the use of office machines (printer, debit terminal, cash register)
- Familiar with computers and knowledge in Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint to create signage, marketing materials
Skills/Abilities
- Ability to relate effectively with patrons of the Marketplace and Cafe
- Able to work unsupervised and accomplish tasks in a timely fashion
- Organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be proactive in cleaning premises including windows, floors and bathroom
- Ability to work flexible hours and Saturdays when required.
Mandatory Requirements
- Must have attended Full-Time school in 2021-2022 and returning to full time school in September 2022
- Aged 18 (Eighteen) to 30 (Thirty)
- Must be a First Nation/Inuit candidate (as per funding requirement)
- Valid Safe Food Handlers Certification or willing to obtain
- The successful candidate will be required to have Current Criminal Records Check
Compensation
- Wages $16.00
- Hours are fluid and require flexibility with maximum of 37.5 hrs
