Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00a.m. to 4:00p.m., must be flexible to adjust work schedule based on operational requirements, with on-call availability during winter months or peak service periods

JOB SUMMARY:
The Property Services Operator is responsible for the year-round maintenance and upkeep of band-owned properties, ensuring they remain safe, functional, and visually presentable. This position plays a key role in maintaining community infrastructure through seasonal tasks such as snow removal, salting, lawn care, and general property maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Equipment operation and safety certifications (e.g., backhoe, snowplow, grader, tractor, etc.) are considered an asset.
- Must have a valid Class G driver’s license; Class DZ driver’s license is considered an asset.
- Experience operating light equipment such as pick-up mounted snowplows, lawn mowers, trimmers, and salters is preferred.
- Experience operating heavy equipment, including garbage trucks (requires a Class DZ license), is considered an asset.
- Experience in property maintenance, groundskeeping, or public works operations.

REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO STARTING EMPLOYMENT:

- The successful candidate must submit a copy of applicable educational qualifications (certificates, diplomas, degrees, etc.).
