Grand River Employment and Training Inc. (GRETI) is seeking an organized, client focused, mature individual who is passionate about education and helping students succeed. The Programs Team Lead will be responsible for increasing the awareness of OSTTC’s programs and services among students, job seekers, employers, partners and the community.

As the Programs Team Lead you shall possess excellent communication skills, management experience and strong decision making skills. In addition to these outlined skills you must possess the following qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Degree/Diploma in Education, Social Science or Business Administration
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience in Post-Secondary Institution
  • Management experience

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:

 

The Programs Team Lead will work under the direction and supervision of the OSTTC Operations Manager

 

A         PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

 

The Programs Team Lead is responsible for increasing awareness of OSTTC’s training programs and services among students, job seekers, employers, partners, and community.  The Program Lead will work to build community capacity, partnerships, linkages within Six Nations community and develop linkages/building partnerships with other providers in the target area based on the needs identified for training.  The Programs Team Lead will work with other Leads of OSTTC projects to align with Ogwehoweh Skills and Trades Training Centers (OSTTC) mission by empowering individuals through education, trades training and professional development.

C         QUALIFICATIONS:

 

The Programs Team Lead shall posses a Degree/Diploma in Education, Social Science or Business Administration, minimum three (3) years’ experience in a Post-Secondary School Institution Setting, with management experience. 

 

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of Six Nations culture & community partners
  • Understanding of socio-economic barriers for First Nations people
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram)

 

Skills

  • Strong editing software skills (Canva, Photoshop)
  • Excellent communication & networking skills
  • Excellent organization & liaison skills
  • Strong presentation skills
