Aides perform a very important role in keeping our Hospital safe and clean for our patients. West Haldimand General Hospital is located in the beautiful town of 
Hagersville, and is a scenic half hour drive to Simcoe, Brantford and Hamilton. If working to make a difference for patients’ appeals to you, then we would love to hear from you. We currently have vacancies for a Housekeeping Aide in our Housekeeping Department. 

DUTIES 
Performs the following functions to ensure that departments are cleaned, stocked and prepared for 
patients, families and staff: 
1. Clean and sanitize designated areas including patient rooms, bathrooms, offices, hallways, and public spaces.  
2. Handle cleaning supplies and chemicals safely and in accordance with company standards.  
3. Report any maintenance issues or damages to management.  
4. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.  
5. Assist with other cleaning tasks as needed. 

QUALIFICATIONS 
1. Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is preferred but not required.  
2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  
3. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.  
4. Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.  
5. Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive attitude.
