Haldimand-Norfolk REACH is a multi-service agency, providing Children’s Mental Health Services, Autism & Behaviour Services, 
Developmental Services, Youth Services, Adult Counselling Services, and several Early Learning Intervention & Care services including 
EarlyON Child & Family Centres and the Community Action Program for Children. 
H-N REACH serves as the Lead Agency for Haldimand Norfolk Children’s Mental Health Services, Coordinated Service Planning and 
the Student Nutrition Program in the Hamilton/Niagara Region. Through our Contact Unit, the agency serves as the single point of 
access for a variety of children’s services.

GROUP SERVICES WORKER Ref. #2026-12
Partner Assault Response Program (PAR)
Casual, Temporary, Hourly
Salary: Step 1 $26.16 - Step 2 $29.43 - Step 3 $32.70
PAR provides psychoeducational group programming for adult individuals charged with domestic assault. 
Haldimand-Norfolk R.E.A.C.H. is seeking an experienced individual to support the program on a casual, as 
needed basis for daytime and evening availability, with no guarantee of hours.
Responsibilities
• Co-facilitate weekly group-based programming using both in-person and virtual formats
• Monitor, evaluate and document the participation of group attendees 
• Complete attendance, group activity notes, and written completion reports
• Conduct intake sessions as required
• Assist in crisis de-escalation and referrals to other community supports
• Contact, consult, and liaise with justice partners and community agencies.
Qualifications
• Post-secondary education in a related field: Social Services or Social Sciences
• A minimum of three years’ experience facilitating groups and demonstrated skills in adult learning 
methods
• Experience working with victims and/or offenders of domestic violence and knowledge of the 
justice system
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills with knowledge of community 
resources
• Criminal Record & Judicial Matters Check, Children’s Aid Society Declaration/Release
• Possession of a valid driver’s license, $2 million vehicle liability insurance, clear Driver Abstract 
and use of a vehicle.
