EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR                Ref. #2025-42
Part-time, Permanent, Hourly
-minimum of 25 hours per week during the school year -
-afternoons from 12:30pm to 5:30pm Monday - Thursday

Salary: Step 1 $17.20 (+$8.54) - Step 2 $17.20 (+$9.33) - Step 3 $18.74 (+$9.66)
*(Rates in bracket include the Wage Subsidy, Wage Enhancement, and Canada-Wide Early Learning & Child Care grants that are applied to the base hourly rates as per funder guidelines, for eligible individuals).

Responsibilities:
To develop programing with children guided by their interests, in play-based learning environments at Ready, Set, School Program

Qualifications:
•  Early Childhood Education Diploma (registration with the College of Early Childhood Educators in good standing)
•  Experience leading children’s activities ideal
•  Ability to work independently and within a team environment
•  A minimum of one year experience preferred
•  Current certification in First Aid/CPR-C Certificate
•  Verification of the required immunizations/immunity, as required by the local Medical Officer of Health
•  Vulnerable Sector Check (includes Criminal Record & Judicial Matters Check), Children’s Aid Society Declaration/Release
•  Possession of a valid driver’s licence, $2 million vehicle liability insurance, clear Driver Abstract and use of a vehicle.
