Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., must be flexible to align work schedule with program requirements which may include some evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays

JOB SUMMARY:
The Cook and Nutritional Wellness Worker is responsible for planning, preparing, and serving nutritious and culturally appropriate meals for women, children, and families residing at the Oneida Family Healing Lodge. As a member of a trauma-informed and culturally safe team, this position supports the healing journey of Indigenous clients by maintaining a welcoming, respectful, and nourishing kitchen environment.
Key responsibilities include meal preparation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and working with shelter staff to meet a range of dietary, spiritual, and cultural needs.
The Cook and Nutritional Wellness Worker may also support community food programming, including traditional food teachings and workshops, when appropriate.
