About Willowbridge
Willowbridge Community Services is a not-for-profit organization offering developmental services and counselling across Hamilton, Brantford, Niagara, and Haldimand Norfolk. We believe that everyone deserves relationships, community, and celebration. Our mission is to bring positive change to life in our community through services, supports, and counselling so no one is left behind.
We are also the proud leaders of the developing Riverside Hub—an innovative, 50,000 sq. ft. community space that will redefine how care is delivered by not-for-profits in Brantford and beyond. In collaboration with 12 charitable organizations, we’re creating a purpose-built home where mental health, developmental, health, and social services come together under one roof. Designed for connection, dignity, and impact, the Riverside Hub will set a new standard for integrated support—making it easier for individuals and families to access the services they need to thrive.
Why Work for Willowbridge?
About The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced, collaborative, and detail-oriented Capital Project Manager to lead day-to-day operations for the Riverside Hub capital project. Now entering the pre-construction phase, the Hub will serve as a purpose-built home for more than a dozen community organizations—offering wraparound supports through integrated design, shared infrastructure, and strong inter-agency partnerships.
This is a rare opportunity to lead a not-for-profit infrastructure project from the ground up. You’ll help guide planning, funding, zoning, and consultant coordination through to construction readiness—while also playing a key role in shaping governance, partner alignment, communications, and fund development. Reporting to the Director of Projects, you’ll join a passionate team that believes in bold ideas, strong collaboration, and lasting community benefit.
How You’ll Contribute:
Lead capital project planning and strategy
Translate strategic direction into actionable workplans, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies using PMI-aligned tools in collaboration with the Director of Projects. Maintain a comprehensive plan that supports zoning, capital readiness, and infrastructure funding milestones.
Coordinate consultants and oversee contract deliverables
With support from the Director of Projects, manage a multidisciplinary team of consultants—including architects, planners, engineers, and heritage specialists—to ensure progress, alignment, and accountability. Oversee procurement processes and contracts in line with nonprofit standards.
Foster collaboration with 12+ partner organizations
Facilitate engagement with local not-for-profit service providers contributing to the Hub. Support transparent communication, shared planning, and collaborative decision-making throughout the development process.
Support governance, MOUs, and organizational planning
Assist in the creation of a foundational governance model, legal structure, and partner agreements for the new nonprofit organization that will own and operate the Riverside Hub.
Manage communications, branding, and public engagement
Maintain and update key project communications tools with the support of Willowbridge’s Communications Department —such as the Hub website, prospectus, and partner materials. Collaborate on media relations, government briefings, and public outreach.
Contribute to funding proposals and financial tracking
Support the preparation of infrastructure grant applications, business cases, and funding proposals. Assist with capital budget tracking and funder reporting to ensure transparency and compliance
What We’re Looking For:
Help us shape a space where community comes together—and where lasting change begins.
Willowbridge is committed to supporting a culture of diversity and inclusiveness across the organization and particularly encourages people of all ethnicities, genders, sexual/gender identities, cultural backgrounds, abilities, and beliefs to apply. Accommodation in the recruitment process will be provided upon request.
