Throughout COVID-19, GREAT’s priority remains the safety of our staff, clients, and community. As a result, we have made changes to how we are servicing the public at this time. Please refer to the following guidelines for reference on GREAT’s most recent COVID-19 protocols.

PAGE LAST UPDATED ON JANUARY 4TH, 2022:

In response to the announcement on January 3rd from Premier Doug Ford, those who can from our team will return to working remotely from January 4 – February 14, 2022. Throughout this period, all visitors and staff will be required to complete a rapid test if they wish to enter the building.

This most recent announcement will not impact the delivery of our programs and services, as GREAT has already been working with our clients on a virtual basis and will continue to do so during this next lockdown. We will, however, have fewer team members working on site. If you do not have internet access and need to meet your ETC in person, please give optimal notice should you need to cancel or reschedule as most are now making a special trip in to meet with you.

Those who are needing in-person accommodations but are unwilling to complete a rapid test can be serviced from the screening area at Mohawk Door 4 but will not be permitted in the building.

We appreciate your understanding as we continue to navigate through these changes.

Stay safe and healthy,

Laurie Froman

Rapid Testing

If you wish to enter the building between January 4th – February 14th, a rapid test must be completed. This applies to all staff, and pre-booked client appointments.

Further clarification to rapid testing:

  • All visitors and staff will be required to do a Rapid test 3 times per week, test will take approximately 15-minutes to get the proper readings, so please ensure you allow time to wait for your results.
  • Testing must be conducted on site by the GRETI Screener at Mohawk Door 4.
  • Visitors will be required to show they have completed the online screening questions, get their temperature checked, as well as sign in.

Intake, documentation drop-off, in-person support

Public drop-ins are not permitted at this time unless instructed otherwise by a GREAT staff member. Intake appointments will occur via telephone, and there will be no access to the Career Information Centre (CIC) (printing/scanning and computer access) until further notice.

Please continue to submit all documentation to reception@greatsn.com.

In-person support: If this is not possible and you need in-person accommodations, clients are able to do so by making an appointment. The rapid testing policy will apply to those who wish to be serviced in-person.
